Marina Service Teams on Compact Tenders — Neptunor

A marina operations group managing moorings, dock maintenance and guest transfers across six harbor locations was running whatever small boats it could get locally — inflatables with soft floors, hard dinghies too heavy to lift, and no two boats rigged the same way.

What daily dock work actually needs

Shadowing the crews for a week clarified the brief. Dock teams need to step on and off a moving platform all day, carry tools and line, row or motor short distances constantly — and lift the boat out at the end of shift without a crane crew standing by.

The two-tender answer

We configured two compact platforms as a matched pair:

• airtender-270 (2.7 m) for single-technician rounds between pontoons — light enough for davit handling, stable enough to stand in while working.
• airdock-330 (3.3 m) for two-person jobs, tool loads and mooring-field sweeps where carrying capacity matters.

Both run air-deck floors that stay rigid underfoot yet keep the boats light, full-length grab lines for alongside work, and lifting points positioned to each location's davit spec. Slatted-floor versions were quoted for the driest climate sites where simplicity wins; air-deck everywhere else.

One standard across six harbors

Because both platforms share valves, oars, pumps and repair kits, the group consolidated its spares into a single inventory serving all six locations. Every boat shipped through our normal gates — chamber pressure holds at 0.35 bar over 24 hours and the 120-point assembly checklist — so the first season produced zero dockside surprises.

Group livery was applied during production, so the fleet looks managed rather than accumulated. The crews' verdict after the first season: the right tender is the one you forget about while working — and that is what these turned out to be.
