The Story
From Challenge to Delivered Boats
The Challenge
Fishing boats need accessory anchoring — rod holders, bait-prep zones and tackle stowage — without compromising stability or deck space. Gear had to stay secure underway, and the packaging had to present the category clearly at retail.
Our Solution
A wide, stable platform with defined angling zones, rod-holder and rail positioning for fishing gear, an organized stowage pack with repair kit, and retail packaging developed under a single controlled program.
Controlled Delivery
Quality & Delivery Control Lines
Quality and Inspection Controls
Quality Basis:
Approved sample, technical specification, customer-approved BOM, artwork reference and packing requirements.
Inspection Focus:
- Accessory anchoring and rail placement verification
- Inflation and 24-hour pressure-hold verification
- Artwork and deck layout accuracy
- Stowage completeness and accessory configuration
- Retail packaging and carton-marking verification
Issue Control:
Non-conforming items were placed under controlled hold and re-inspected after approved corrective action.
Evidence:
Batch-level inspection records and packing checks retained by project, linked to the approved sample and specification.
Production and Delivery Controls
Planning Inputs:
Approved sample · final artwork · accessory configuration · packaging readiness · confirmed order quantity.
Milestones:
Sample approval → production release → production scheduling → final inspection → packing verification → shipment preparation.
Delivery Readiness:
SKU configuration, labeling, manuals, barcodes, carton marking and packing quantity verified before shipment release.
Outcome:
Accessory layout and stowage locked at sample stage; verified kits shipped.
Configuration
Customized Product Configuration

Process
How the Project Ran
- 1
Concept review
Target use, gear carried and stowage structure defined the configuration.
- 2
Accessory layout
Rod holders, rails and storage zones positioned on the deck.
- 3
Sample approval
Stability and accessory anchoring verified on a physical boat.
- 4
Program production
Defined quality checkpoints, pack verification and shipment release.
The Result
The configuration was confirmed on the approved sample — accessory anchoring, stowage structure and packaging all aligned before production — and the program shipped with verified kits.
