Resort Project
How a Resort Group Standardized a 60-Boat Branded Water-Sports Fleet
A resort group wanted its watersports offering to feel part of the property — branded boats in the group palette, durable under tropical sun and shallow-lagoon use, and easy to store between seasons across four island properties.

The Story
From Challenge to Delivered Boats
The Challenge
Daily guest use under strong UV and in shallow, sandy water wears generic fleets fast, off-season storage space is limited, and the group wanted one recognizable standard across all properties instead of per-island choices.
Our Solution
Heavy-duty rental construction — reinforced tubes, UV-stable fabrics and aluminum hulls where beach launches are rough — full-side graphics in the resort colors, and branded accessories included as part of the fleet package.
Controlled Delivery
Quality & Delivery Control Lines
Quality and Inspection Controls
Quality Basis:
Approved sample, technical specification, customer-approved BOM, artwork reference and packing requirements.
Inspection Focus:
- Inflation and 24-hour pressure-hold records on every tube set
- Valve and reinforced-seam condition
- Artwork accuracy and color match to the approved sample
- Accessory and kit completeness per boat
- Carton marking and fleet labels before shipment release
Issue Control:
Non-conforming items were placed under controlled hold and re-inspected after approved corrective action.
Evidence:
Batch-level inspection records and packing checks retained by project, linked to the approved sample and specification.
Production and Delivery Controls
Planning Inputs:
Approved sample · final artwork · accessory configuration · packaging readiness · confirmed order quantity.
Milestones:
Sample approval → production release → production scheduling → final inspection → packing verification → shipment preparation.
Delivery Readiness:
SKU configuration, labeling, manuals, barcodes, carton marking and packing quantity verified before shipment release.
Outcome:
On-time season launch, 100% branded fleet, two-property expansion.
Configuration
Customized Product Configuration
Elements defined, approved and locked with the client before production.
- RIB and dinghy mix selected for excursion and free-play duty
- Full-side graphics in the property palette
- Tube printing and logo placement approved on a physical sample
- Branded pumps, oars and accessory sets for every boat
- Fleet numbering and color-coding per island property
- Rack-storage configuration and seasonal refresh scope
Process
How the Project Ran
- 1
Fleet consultation
Guest volume, lagoon conditions and season length defined the per-property mix.
- 2
Branded sample
Colors and logo approved on a physical boat before production.
- 3
Production & QC
60 boats produced with multi-point QC across the run.
- 4
Delivery & refresh
Seasonal delivery, spare parts and a refresh program for later seasons.
The Result
All four properties launched their fleets on time for the season. Boats store stacked on racks off-season, and guest feedback on the branded equipment drove expansion orders at two properties the following year.
