What CSM construction looks like

A CSM tube is a laminate: an outer skin of Hypalon® for UV and chemical resistance, neoprene bonding layers, a high-tenacity nylon base fabric for strength, and an inner liner that keeps air where it belongs. The layers are hand-laminated and the seams hot-air welded by certified operators — one reason CSM collars sit on the boats that work hardest.

Why professionals choose it

Fuel spills, oil, solvents, relentless sun and tropical heat are daily reality on commercial decks. CSM resists all of them while staying flexible across extreme temperature ranges, which is why coast guards, rescue services and charter fleets keep specifying it despite the higher cost and longer build time.

How it compares with PVC

High-tenacity PVC is the right answer for most programs: lighter, less expensive, RF-weldable for fully automated seams, and available in far more colors. Our marine PVC retains over 80% of tensile strength after 2,000 hours of xenon-arc UV exposure.
