A second 25 kW radio-frequency welding line has doubled daily tube-set capacity — with every welded chamber now linked to its pressure-test record by serial number.

New 25 kW RF Welding Line Doubles Daily Tube Output at Neptunor Plant

Qingdao, China — Neptunor has commissioned a second 25 kW radio-frequency (RF) welding line at its Qingdao plant, doubling the factory's daily tube-set output. The investment lands ahead of the peak ordering season and directly shortens lead times for fleet-scale inflatable boat and RIB programs.

Why RF welding matters for tubes

RF (dielectric) welding fuses PVC layers by applying a high-frequency electromagnetic field between electrodes, heating the material uniformly through its thickness rather than from the surface inward. The result is a seam with consistent penetration and repeatable strength — independent of operator technique on any given day.

For OEM buyers this shows up in three ways: tighter dimensional consistency across a batch, lower seam-failure rates over the life of the boat, and faster cycle times that keep large orders inside quoted lead windows.

QA now runs straight into the test record

The new line is integrated with our quality system at the data level. Every weld cycle is logged against the work order, and each finished chamber carries its serial number into final assembly, where it goes through our standard 24-hour pressure-hold test at 0.35 bar. Any chamber dropping more than 0.02 bar is rejected and rebuilt — and the reject rate per weld die is tracked week over week, so tooling wear is corrected before it ever reaches your batch.

Because weld records and pressure records share one serial-number trail, a buyer auditing our process can trace any single chamber from fabric roll to packed carton. That trail feeds the 10-year traceability commitment we extend to every production order.

What changes for buyers

 • Capacity: daily tube output doubles, protecting production slots during peak season.
 • Lead times: standard 30–45 day production windows hold more reliably on multi-container orders; sample boats still ship within 10–15 days of specification freeze.
 • Scope: the line serves all PVC tube production across tenders and Alloy Series RIB collars. CSM (Hypalon®) collars remain hand-laminated and hot-air welded — RF does not bond CSM, and we do not pretend otherwise.

See it running

The line is in daily production now. Buyers planning Q4 fleet programs are welcome to inspect it during a factory visit or audit, alongside our pressure-test lab. Request a visit through the OEM/ODM program page or contact info@neptunor.com.
